A pro-Kasich political action committee launched a 60-second online ad targeting Republican National Convention delegates.

The piece is set in the near future, when Ohio Gov. John Kasich seizes the Republican Party nomination for the presidency because of 1,237 courageous delegates inside Quicken Loans Arena.

“It isn’t about the establishment. It’s about the delegates and the delegates decided this election was about winning the presidency and only John Kasich could beat Hillary Clinton. In the final hours, it came down to 1,237 brave Americans. Delegates. You, who over came tremendous personal pressure and did the right thing,” the female narrator says.

That is certainly how Kasich wants his story to be written.
